The "prizes"

Three Home Depot Gift Cards will be awarded: Two cards worth $20 each and one card worth $100

The Selection Process

Recipients will be selected at random from the active membership list of the Thumb and Hammer forum. An active member is someone who has registered for the forum and contributed at least one quality post. A quality post is a post that is on-topic. No spam! Selection is based on membership status only, not by the number of posts. Multiple posts will not increase the odds of being selected. Due to logistics, only US or Canadian residents are eligible.

Notification

Recipients will be notifed via email at the address in their membership profile. This address is only viewable by the website admin. If you have concerns about privacy, please read the privacy policy.

Verification

The recipient will be required to respond to the notification email in order to arrange prize delivery.

Delivery

Recipients in the United States will receive a Home Depot eGift Card delivered directly to their email, which can be printed and redeemed in store or online. Recipients in Canada will receive a Home Depot Gift Card delivered to their physical address. The address will only be used for the sole purpose of delivering the Gift Card and will not be sold or otherwise shared.

Disclaimer

This is not a lottery. The prizes are merely intended as tokens of appreciation, although, admittedly, this is also a means of driving some traffic to the forum. This website is not affiliated with Home Depot. Home Depot is not furnishing any of the prizes, in whole or in part.

Duration

Period of eligibility for this giveaway ends 11:59pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time (GMT-4) on August 6, 2010. Selection of recipients will take place on August 7 ,2010. Prizes must be claimed by responding to the notification email no later than October 31, 2010.

Rights reserved

The webmaster of Thumbandhammer.com reserves the right to withdraw the offer if it is deemed to not be in compliance with any applicable laws. Furthermore, should response to the offer have a negative impact on the Forum in terms of spam, the period of eligibility will terminate, and the termination will be announced in this space. Selection date will remain the same.
