The deposit has been paid to the plumbing contractor, so as soon as his materials come he will upgrade our hot water heat. He expects the job to take close to a week.
We have ordered the flooring for upstairs. Hopefully that will arrive in time for my summer vacation so I can get it installed while I am off of work. We are members of Direct Buy, so the order will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. We finally decided on bamboo for a several reasons. First, we like the look. Second, it is still relatively uncommon in our area, so it has a bit of a “wow” factor. Third, it is an environmentally friendly product. Fourth, the price was right. The question facing me now is whether to attempt to do this job myself or hire a professional flooring installer. I’m leaning towards hiring a pro….
