Rather than push my luck with my shoulder, which has been really sore this week, I decided to take a bit of a break. I spent about 8 hours today cleaning up the desk in our computer room. It has been a cluttered mess ever since the room was finished back in the fall of 2003. Tomorrow will also be a day of rest. I have neglected the usual mundane taskes, such as getting groceries. Not only is our cupboard bare, so to speak, but we are getting tired of take-out all the time. The yards need to be cleaned up and the lawns need to be cut. Chances are none of that will get done before we attend an afternoon BBQ in celebration of my friends’ wedding. I have high hopes that he will be willing to help me out with the demolition in the basement on Sunday. With two of us working, we should get the majority of the work done.
